Obv: Arms of Awadh. Two fishes facing one another, enclosed 'sana Ahd', supporting a dagger pointing upwards, surmounted by a crown. A Lion on either side with head turned outwards and holding a pennant as supporter. A scroll beneath. Lotus flower on either side.

Below: Zarb Suba Awadh
The legend translates as "Struck at the Seat of Government, Province of Awadh, in the First Year of (His) Reign Associated With Prosperity".
Rev: Sikka Zad Bar Sim Wa Zar Az Fazl Zu Al Manan Ghazi Al Din Haider Alai Nasib Shah Zaman.
The legend translates as "Struck coin on Silver and Gold by the Grace of the Great and Almighty God, Ghazi Al-Din Haider, of Lofty Fortune, King of the World".

Wazir-ul Mumalik Rifat-ud-Daulah Rafi-ul-Mulk GHAZI UD-DIN HAIDAR Shahamat Jung (1814-1827 AD) was the last Nawab Wazir and the First King of Awadh.
