Rev ; Zeus Nikephoros seated left; monogram to inner left, all within wreath. SNG Spaer 2919 var no P on reverse, SMA 461. VF, toned. Well struck for issue. Rare ruler. Extremely high grade specimen.

Note ; Antiochos XIII was the last of the great line of Seleukid kings. He spent his youth in Asia and Rome, and following the withdrawal of Tigranes II from Syria the Romans placed him on the Seleukid throne. His reign was very turbulent, and in 64 BC he was ousted by Pompey and Syria was annexed as a Roman province.
