Rare Silver Bi Lingual Dirham ;
Mint : Mahmudpur ( Lahore )
Obverse: in field: Shahāda and nizam al-din abữl qaism; al-qãdir above; billah to the left; mint and date in the margin
Reverse: in field: as above. Margin, in Sarada characters:
avyaktīya name ayam tankam hato mahamūdapura samvati..in the name of the Invisible this tanka was struck at Mahmidpid

Note : The following dirhams were struck in Mahmūdpūr( Lahore ) in the years AH 418 and were 419. struck They are remarkable for having the obverse in Arabic and the reverse in Sanskrit .There are four varieties depending on the obverse field legends and the reverse marginal legends. The reverse field legend does not change and is as follows, in Sarada character:
avyaktameka muhammada avatar nrpati mahamuda
The Invisible is One; Muhammad is the manifestation; Mahmud the king.
