Extremey Rare Silver Rupee, "Gobind Shahi" Couplet, 1878 VS
Obv: Persian legend "deg tegh fath nusrat be dirang, yaft az nanak guru Gobind Singh", with Gurmukhi 'HAR' for Hari Singh Nalwa,
Rev: Persian legend "sana julus manus memanat" & "zarb Khitta Kashmir" at the top with leaf mintmark,

Note: Some rupees struck in Kashmir under Hari Singh Nalwa in VS 1878 & 1879 bear the words “HAR”or “HARJI” in the Gurumukhi or Nagari scripts. These coins probably gave rise to the widespread belief that Maharaja Ranjit Singh authorized his governor in Kashmir to strike coins in his own name.
